Our Mission
Working with vulnerable populations we aim to support the self-empowerment of local communities through bottom-up participatory development, which promotes the agency and self determination of local people through holistic, collaborative development. Embracing local ecological knowledge, culture, ideas, and skills, we seek to foster synergistic and sustainable systems, while advancing economic, health and wellbeing opportunities.

Our Vision
Gulagbi was established to be a charity, whose purpose is to relieve the distress and suffering of vulnerable or underprivileged individuals or communities experiencing poverty or illness. This outcome is undertaken through:
programs focussed on delivering sustainable systems, and training on those systems, for the provision of food production, preserving the quality of fresh drinking water, water reuse and regenerative agriculture;
advancing living conditions through the facilitation of economic or employment opportunities, improved sanitation and hygiene, as well as developing adequate shelter and cooking amenities;
supporting improved pre and postnatal healthcare, providing training on modern techniques and methods in pre and postnatal healthcare, reducing infant mortality and advancing general community wellbeing through expanded access to health facilities and healthcare providers, and providing health care education.
